Jamie Ellington is a multidisciplinary Artist, Producer, and Director of Photography based in Brooklyn, New York. His work spans fine art and fashion photography, live broadcast production, music, and writing.
Born into a family of musicians, poets, and historians, and shaped by a North East Scottish, Cuban, and American upbringing, Ellington's practice is rooted in questions of cultural inheritance, the intimacy of power, and the politics of the image. He holds a BA (Hons) in Art History and Photography from Kingston University, London and has lectured internationally.
His commercial work spans luxury, culture, and sport, with clients including Cartier, Google, Calvin Klein, and the MLB, among others.
